AG Baby and Naira Marley to perform at NPR event
AG Baby and Naira Marley will perform at NPR’s Black Music Month concert as Nigerian musicians continue to take Afrobeats around the world.
Juneteenth, a holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans in the United States, will be commemorated by the concert, which will run from June 1-30.
Tiny Desk Series Producer said “We will publish eleven performances representing the past, present, and future of Black music. This is the first time each of the eleven acts will play the Tiny Desk”.

There will be eleven performances of Black music from the past, present, and future, according to Tiny Desk Series Producer Bobby. Each of the eleven acts will perform at the Tiny Desk for the first time ever.
Remember that Tiny Desk has previously hosted Nigerian acts like Fireboy DML, Tems, Davido, Tiwa Savage, and Burna Boy.
NPR will host Adekunle Gold and Naira Marley, as well as Usher, FKA Twigs, Monica, and eight more artists, on a new version of the show.
