Alex Ekubo laments over Deborah’s killing, calls out Govt
According to Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo, the recent assassination of a Sokoto student has prompted him to speak out.
It has been reported by two eyewitnesses that other female students in Nigeria had murdered a female student for posting “blasphemous” words in a WhatsApp group.
As a result of the incident, the school in Nigeria’s northeastern state of Sokoto was closed immediately.
According to a Sokoto state command spokeswoman, two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a university student named Deborah Samuel.

Actor Alex Ekubo has urged on the government to do the right thing and put the culprits of this horrible deed behind prison in the wake of the murder.
He wrote this, “God pls grant the soul/s of all those who have died in these senseless religious, political & ethnic wars in Nigeria pls grant them a hall pass to Heaven, they already lived & died in hell.
This Nigeria is just a pot of beans, lots of innocent people have died senseless/meaningless death. It’s really pathetic.
May the peace that passeth all understanding blow over Nigeria.”
