Ama Serwah Genfi, better known by her stage name Amaarae, has explained why Afrobeat is her most successful genre of music.
While Afrobeat is currently the most popular musical style, even its most ardent admirers have a hard time articulating the exact qualities that make it so special to them.
Amaara, though, has aided in this regard by tweeting about how she can’t get enough Afrobeat.

She claims that the majority of the songs written and performed by artists in this niche genre are focused on love, financial success, and spiritual thankfulness. These are the reasons why she can’t let go of it.
She wrote;
