A recent interview conducted under the Twitter hashtag #AfricaToTheWorld by YBNL’s newest signing Asake said that social media was essential in his meeting with Olamide and landing a deal with the rapper and record producer.

The singer Asake responded to a question regarding the value of social media to his career by stating that it was through social media that he met Baddo, who had heard his song “Mr. Money” and approached him.

YBNL signed the artist and his life has taken a turn for the better. He says he can no longer do things for himself as an individual, but he is enjoying every minute of it because it is exactly what he wished for when he signed with the company.
