Bella Shmurda discloses how he begged a Law student to review his Record Deal Contract
Bella Shmurda, whose real name is Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, has revealed that before signing his first record deal, he had a law student review the paperwork for him.
Bella, a student at the time, could not afford to hire a lawyer, and he had previously signed with One World Global Records.
The artist claims he hired a law student from his 300 level law class to help him read through the legal text of his record deal, but the student turned out to be woefully unprepared for the task.

Bella Shmurda claims he smoked weed with the man and saw him often while in law school, when he wore the standard black and white outfit. The two had smoked pot together in the past, so he decided to give the man a call.
During their discussion on the Rubbin Minds show on Channels TV, he told Ebuka Obi-Uchendu this.
The CashApp vocalist and current CEO of Dagbana Republik advised his fellow musicians to carefully examine any legal documents before signing them.
He assured them that there was no need to rush into signing a contract because it was now 2022 and there were numerous opportunities for artists to pursue.
