Broda Shaggi is named as the best actor in a comedy at AMVCA 2022

Samuel Animashaun, an award-winning actor and content creator, was one of the winners at the recently concluded 8th Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Kayode Kasum’s DWINDLE, starring Broda Shaggi, won the Best Actor in a Comedy award at this year’s Baftas.

While accepting his award, Shaggi expressed his gratitude to the cast and crew of DWINDLE for their unwavering support over the years, and he dedicated it to his fans. Additionally, Olufemi Oguntamu, his manager, was commended for his never-ending quest to do things better and in a new way at every turn.

Originally known as a skits maker, Broda Shaggi is now branching out into music and acting, two of his other passions. Chief Daddy 2, Fate of Alakada, Day Of Destiny, Namaste Wahala, and King Of Thieves (Ageshinkole) are just a few of the films he has appeared in.

Actor Shawn Faqua was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the critically acclaimed film The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Sniper.
