Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana involved in fatal accident
When Andre Onana was on his way to camp for Cameroon vs Algeria World Cup Qualifier, he was involved in a terrible road accident in his Range Rover.
Andre Onana, Cameroon’s first-choice goalkeeper, was injured in a horrific car accident on Tuesday morning, along with his brother.
The Ajax goalkeeper was on his way from Yaounde to Douala in preparation for Cameroon’s forthcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Algeria in Douala on Wednesday.
As reported by Voetbalzone, the 25-year-old was able to walk away from the accident without suffering any injuries and continued his journey in a borrowed automobile.

This weekend, Cameroon and Algeria will play one other in a doubleheader to determine which team will receive one of five African tickets to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The first leg is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 25 at the Japoma Stadium in Douala, with the second leg taking place on Tuesday, March 29 at the Mustapha Tchaker Stadium in Blida, Algeria.
Onana is the first-choice goalkeeper for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, and he remained in goal for the entire time the Cameroonian national side earned bronze at the recently finished 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
