Chance The rapper explains why he always wears cap #3.
Chance The Rapper, an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who also produces his own music, has explained why he always wears the number three on his headwear.
In an interview with Kojo Manuel, the rapper alluded to the fact that it was once only him, his wife, and their first kid, Kensli Benett, and that’s why he used to write “3” on his hats.
The rapper explained that the number used to refer to his family—his wife and their first daughter—but that it is now invalid because they had another daughter.
