As of August 6th, Davido has not yet congratulated his uncle, Governor Oyetola, on his election victory. Because Oyetola’s uncle applauded him after losing the election in 2018, he thinks he’s being harsh.

Oyetola had stolen Davido’s job, but he still believed that his uncle was a better person.

He wrote;

“Your excellency sir @GboyegaOyetola when will you congratulate the Incoming governor of your state @AAdeleke_01 … in 2018 my uncle congratulated you even though it was stolen … do the right thing baba .. one love ❤️

The musician also posted a picture of the Governor on Instagram and wrote it, “Defeat is horrible… Thank you for your time, sir.

His facial expression is in response to Oyetola Friday’s petition to a tribunal in Osogbo for an annulment of the election that saw Adeleke come out on top.

According to the governor, the election was fraught with certain irregularities.
