Davido sponsors brilliant Ghanaian students to tertiary level
The musician is making the most of every opportunity to demonstrate his commitment to living a life of service.
David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, has promised to pay for the postsecondary education of a Ghanaian student who has excelled in his studies.
Earlier this month, the DMW frontline act and owner responded to a popular article about a student who achieved straight A’s in his WAEC exam but had to stay at home due to a lack of finance for his schooling..
The father of three sought to know the student’s name and whereabouts so he could support him in some way.

The student, who is from Ghana, will receive a four- or five-year scholarship to study at Adeleke University, which includes a stipend and housing, according to the latest developments.
In a post on Twitter, he said:

Davido has a history of giving back to the community, most recently donating $250 million Naira to orphanages in Nigeria on his birthday to commemorate his humanitarian nature.
