The former Spurs manager is on the edge at the moment with the Villains struggling badly this season. Sherwood is a young manager with a good prospect but with lots to prove. He went on to take Aston Villa to the FA Cup Finals last season but is having a tough time this season. He still is one of the highest paid managers in the Premier League after earning £2million a year.

From the former Spurs manager to the current Spurs manager, Pochettino is an interesting prospect as far as the managers in the Premier League are concerned. The former Southampton manager is doing well at Spurs but things need to improve and needs to finish better than they did last time to play at a higher level in Europe. Pochettino too earns £2million a year.

The Merseyside club have had a decent start to the season until they were badly beaten by Manchester United 3-0 at Goodison Park. Martinez needs to change things a little bit to help them play in other European competitions. He is certainly capable of that. Martinez earns £3million a year.

The newly appointed West Ham boss has done wonders already in the Premier League. Bilic has been outstanding in his first 9 games in the Premier League after his side was successfully able to beat Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City away from home. West Ham stand 4th at the moment and Bilic has certainly earned a lot of plaudits for his good work. He too earns £3million a year.

The Chilean has had a good spell at Manchester City but would definitely regret not challenging well enough for the Premier League title last season. City are at the moment top of the table and looking good to consistently maintain their position. Pellegrini needs to win at least one

trophy this season in order to secure the faith of the fans and the City board. He earns £4million a year.

The German is newly appointed as the Liverpool manager and a lot is expected off him to do well. Klopp was very impressive with Borussia Dortmund and needs to bring that attacking style and approach to Anfield. He needs to change things quickly to help Liverpool qualify for the Champions League. The Manchester United manager has helped United develop a pa$$ing game but is time and again criticized for being unproductive. The former Dutch manager has loads of experience under his belt and is expected to help United successfully challenge for the Premier League title this season. Van Gaal earns £7.3million a year.

 

2. Arsene Wenger – £8.3Million Per Year

The Frenchman is Premier League’s longest serving manager and needs to win the Premier League title soon to impress the Arsenal fans. Arsenal have look good but they need to be consistent and Wenger needs to make sure of that. He earns £8.3million a year.

 

1. Jose Mourinho – £8.5Million Per Year

The Portuguese is under a lot of criticism after Chelsea’s disappointing start to the season and he needs to change things quickly. That being said he is still Premier League’s highest earning manager by earning £8.5million a year.
