Gyakie discloses how she felt when Davido was recording his verse on her song.
Jackline Acheampong, better known by her stage name Gyakie, is a Grammy Award–winning musician from Ghana.
She recently opened up about how she felt while Nigerian artist Davido recorded a verse for her song.
Gyakie is quickly becoming one of the most promising new performers in the music industry. She has just published her “My Diary” EP.

The Ghanaian celebrity has spoken about how she feels about having Davido on her EP, stating that she considers it a huge honor. Size and significance were two words she used to describe it.
“This is huge for me because we all know he(Davido) is an African Superstar and I didn’t expect this to happen right now. “Looking at how far everything has been for me and having Davido on my EP is a big deal for me.”
She reports that OBO expressed interest in adding a verse to her song Flames after hearing it for the first time, and the song was later placed on her EP.
“Flames was not on the project. The project just had five songs with no collaboration but when we played a lot of the songs he liked this particular one and he jumped on it”.
According to Gyakie, she had to excuse herself to the restroom during the recording session in order to have a good weep. She denied having Davido present during the recording session.
“They were looking for me at the studio but couldn’t find me because I had locked myself in the washroom and was crying. I could not believe Davido was in the studio recording a verse on my song,”
