Ladipoe discuss why he made changes in his name

After signing to Mavin Records, Poe was forced to change his name.

Ladipo Eso, better known as Ladipoe, has explained why he changed his name from Poe to Ladipoe.

His new track, “Big Energy,” is already gaining traction, making him one of the most sought-after rappers in Nigeria and Africa.

The rapper confessed that he had to change his name from “Poe” to “Ladipoe” due to copyright difficulties in an interview with Cool FM’s ace media personality Kemi Smallz.

‘Man Already’ was featured in the catalog of an American singer whose name was Poe, according to the father of one. This inspired him to change his name from Ladipo to Ladipoe.

The BET Award-nominated rapper went on to discuss his new track, ‘Big Energy,’ as well as his career and other issues of interest.
