Lil Wayne & Birdman To Celebrate Cash Money Anniversary In New Orleans
Lil Wayne might not be a fan of Cash Money these days, but he certainly can’t forget how far it has gotten him in his career. This weekend is All-Star weekend in New Orleans, and also marks the 20th anniversary of the Southern record label. Being that there is a big celebration for the label’s anniversary, both Weezy, as well as Birdman, will be in the Louisiana city to honor the big milestone.
A source told TMZ that both Weezy & Birdman will be in New Orleans this weekend for the festivities. Wayne will be at the Masquerade Nightclub, while Birdman’s hitting up several venues that are just blocks away, including House of Blues. They’ll both be in town celebrating 20 years of Cash Money Records, along with fellow artists Turk, Juvenile, & Mannie Fresh.
In another twist of events, it was previously reported that a Cash Money reunion tour planned by Birdman was in the works and the Hot Boyz crew would glow on its roster. While Wayne would be included in the plans, sources allegedly shared with TMZ that Birdman wouldn’t let his absence stop the show should he reject the invite.
