According to reputable journalist Gerard Romero, Manchester City forward Bernardo Silva is open to a summer switch to Barcelona.
Last summer, there were rumblings that Silva was looking to leave Manchester United’s Etihad Stadium. Later, the Portugal international claimed that he wanted to leave the club because he was unhappy with his life in England.
In spite of this, Silva was instrumental in Manchester City’s recent Premier League success. When playing for the Cityzens, he scored 13 goals and made seven assists in 50 appearances. The 27-year-campaign old’s in 2021-22 was mainly a success. However, if rumors from Spain are to be accepted, he is still dissatisfied with his time in England.

Despite this, Pep Guardiola’s side have a deal with the attacker until the end of the 2024-25 season. A massive offer would be required to tempt him away from the Etihad Stadium, according to the source. Silva may be an impossible target for Barcelona in light of the club’s present financial situation. The sale of Frenkie de Jong, according to the aforementioned source, is a prerequisite for any deal including the Portuguese.
