Patoranking slams government for setting up billboard accusing Phyno & Flavour of blackmail

The Enugu state has stepped on the wrong foot of some celebrities as the government of the state mounted a giant billboard that claims that the Nigerian popular singers, Phyno and Flavour are blackmailing the government of the state with the #EndSARS protest.

It will be recalled that, Phyno, Zoro, Kcee and Flavour took to social media to lament that they have been threatened by the Enugu state government due to their participation in the peaceful protest against the extrajudicial killing of innocent youths by the Nigeria police through its defunct subunit special antirobbery squad.

This group of Nigerian singers further send a note, should it be the case something wrong happen to them, Enugu state government should be held responsible.

In reaction, a giant billboard was erected to counter the claim and to display faces of the artiste informing them to go back to their state, Anambra to protest as these singers aren’t an indigene of the state.

The billboard says,

“Don’t use #EndSARS protest to blackmail Enugu State Government. Go to your state. Our Governor is working.”

Reacting to the billboard, Patoranking took to social media to slam the government for that imbecile comment, he said;

“This is so shameful and I would advise, you use the same energy to End police brutality in Enugu state…Enugu people deserve better…Nigerians deserve better #endsars #Endpolicebrutality.”
