PDP Returnees Hosted to Dinner in Abuja (Photos/Video)

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hosted its returnees to a dinner in Abuja.

The party hosted the party at the Transcorp Hotel in Abuja on Wednesday, August 1.

There has been a gale of defection to the PDP particularly from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Meanwhile, after several weeks of speculation, Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state on Tuesday, August 1, defected from the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) to his former party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the declaration followed a solidarity rallies organised by the governor’s supporters across the 23 local government areas of the state.

Tambuwal told the rally that the defection came after due consultations with the people and response to calls by major stakeholders in the state.
