Rema reveals the motivation behind his hit song “Calm Down”
Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema, a Nigerian Afrobeat singer, composer, and performer, has revealed the origin behind his big hit “Calm Down.”
The hit song’s composer revealed up about the incident that sparked his inspiration.
As soon as Andre Vibez’s production of the Afro-fusion music was released, it became an instant hit and went on to the top of the charts and established several global records.

The Mavin signee told Glitch Africa that the song was inspired by an experience he had at a party where he met a girl and attempted to get to know her, but it was difficult.
A “calm down,” which means “take things easy,” is what he told the girl after the intense conversation compelled him to say it.
