Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz has taken photos of Serena Williams, Patti Smith, Amy Schumer, Yoko Ono and others for Pirelli’s 2016 calendar

Serena Williams has shot a series of tople$$ photos for Pirelli’s 2016 calendar.

She as well as other stars that include Patti Smith, Amy Schumer, Yoko Ono and others were shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Speaking to People Magazine, the photographer while speaking on next year’s issue, said:

“This calendar is so completely different. It is a departure. The idea was not to have any pretense in these pictures and be very straightforward.

“I started to think about the roles that women play, women who have achieved something. I wanted to make a cla$$ic set of portraits. I thought that the women should look strong but natural and I decided to keep it a very simple exercise of shooting in the studio.”
