Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, better known by her stage name Nicki Minaj, is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and performer from Trinidad and Tobago, and she gave a mind-blowing performance at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
At the awards show, which took place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey at 8:00pm ET on Sunday, August 29, 2022, the year’s top music videos were recognized.

The Mother of One gave a memorable performance of her global songs before collecting The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award (also known as the Video Vanguard Award or the Lifetime Achievement Award).
During her acceptance speech, Nicki recognized her following, the “barbs,” and gave credit to artists such as Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Drake, and Kanye West.
