Burna Boy and Davido, two of Nigeria’s biggest Afrobeat stars, have announced new music, which will be released on the same day.

Grammy winner is trending on Twitter after his prank on social media. When he announced that his new single, “Last Last,” would be released on May 13th, 2022, his name appeared on Twitter’s trending list.

Burna was slammed on Instagram by Nigerians for pursuing fame. “Stand Strong” is Davido’s upcoming single, and they said Odogwu was wrong to try to derail the focus from that.

Burna Boy was criticized by some for not waiting or delaying the release of his new song, rather than announcing it and therefore creating a rift in the industry.
