Wizkid sets new record in U.S. with “Made In Lagos”

“Made in Lagos,” his fourth studio album, has become the first African album to sell 500,000 copies in the United States, making it eligible for a US Gold Certification.

Wizkid has sold more than 40 million albums in his career, making him the most successful African artist of all time. “Made In Lagos” will be the first African Album to debut on the Billboard Chart (WBBA) three years in a row consecutively when it is released in 2020. (2020,2021,2022).

Also, it’s the first ever African album to be included on BBW for the entire calendar year (2021, 52 weeks).
