Zlatan Ibile reveals how Olamide helped him when he was nobody
One of Nigeria’s most prominent singers, Zlatan Ibile, has said that rap icon Olamide has been a constant source of inspiration and encouragement to him since the beginning of his music career.

It was in 2017 that he met Olamide, he added, and the struggling artist frequently asked for Olamide’s help, saying he appreciated how he engaged with him on social media.
Zlatan revealed that the YBNL head was the first person who gave him the boost he needed in his career on the Tea with Taymesan Podcast.
His old record label wasn’t popular, but Olamide saw the value in Oritse Femi’s work and decided to reach out.
YBNL boss Olamide contacted and showed up during the set of the “Lagos Anthem” hitmaker’s music video. Olamide then promoted him on the internet and his life changed forever.
According to “Zanku” record label CEO, Davido’s video of himself and Ecool dancing to his song was another thrilling moment for him.
